Training

Piccadilly Garden is an approved training centre for City and Guilds, NPTC (National Proficiency Tests Council), OCNW (Open College of the North West). We provide Horticulture and Woodwork courses in collaboration with Lancaster and Morecambe College. These courses are mainly based at our main site and also at Growing Matters and Craftworks.

Training Options

  • NVQ level 1 in Horticulture

    Provides a broad based introduction to Horticulture. It is based at Piccadilly Garden, and run in collaboration with Lancaster & Morecambe College. The course aims to give you a range of practical skills used within the horticultural industry which is backed up by a good basic horticultural knowledge.

  • Entry 2 & 3 in FAVE Horticulture

    A pre-NVQ level course that provides an introduction to Horticulture. These courses are based at Piccadilly garden Ltd, a horticulture training agency and are run in corroboration with the College.

How to enrol?

  • To enrol please arrange to visit us by contacting us on 01524 847685, where we will assist you in filling out an enrolment form.
  • Our Office hours are Monday - Friday 9.30am - 3.30pm.

How to Pay?

  • Pay by cash or credit card/debit card
  • If you receive, or are the dependent of someone receiving, means tested benefits please complete the U1 Form and bring evidence of eligibility when you enrol.
  • If your employer is paying your course fees, please ensure you bring an official purchase order, letter of authority or company cheque when you enrol
